Teleradiology

Teleradiology is the transmission of radiologic images from a site of image acquisition to a remote location for interpretation.  Teleradiology provides a means to provide rapid diagnosis and report turnaround for radiological examinations acquired locally or transmitted to a radiologist from anywhere in the world.
